Nigeria, Thailand sign MoU on Technical Cooperation, seek stronger economic partnership

Nigeria and Thailand have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations, with a focus on expanding economic cooperation, trade and investment between the two countries.

According to the press release, The two countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Technical Cooperation on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Odumegwu-Ojukwu signed on behalf of Nigeria while Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, signed for his country.
